2018 has started off strong for Direct Radiology. Our teleradiologist team continues to provide excellent patient-based service to our clients, and our IT team has worked diligently to streamline processes and leverage their expertise to support custom workflow solutions.
- Collaboration and Success: Much of our success year-over-year is due to our excellent team and our clients who together show the value of cooperation in our profession. An essential part of our philosophy and our practice is communication and community. At Direct Radiology, our radiologists and staff work hand-in-hand with each other, our clients and the broader radiology community. We are intentional about both the work we take on and the choices we make to ensure the most collaborative partnership. We have added several leading teleradiologists to the team, we have expanded our IT department so we can do more for our clients and we appointed Dr. Troy Belle and Dr. Laura Hotchkiss as our newest medical directors.
- Responsible Growth: Over the past six years, Direct Radiology has established itself as one of the preeminent teleradiology practices in the United States. We are focused on responsible growth, recognizing that this accomplishment is a byproduct of our philosophy, commitment to our clients and the great work of our team. This difference allows us to be a strategic, supportive partner to our clients, helping to improve medical efficiency as the industry continues to evolve. In 2017, we added several new licenses and expanded our reach to new states across the U.S. We now offer teleradiology services in more than 75 percent of the United States with licensing in all 50 U.S. states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Also, for the second year in a row, we’ve been recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country.
- Technology: The technology enhancements we launched in 2016 helped us streamline workflow, save our customers time and money, and decrease turnaround times in 2017. Our focus and commitment to technology innovation will continue to enhance our work in 2018. Our automated query retrieve software allows our technologists to access prior exams and pull archives more efficiently than ever before. Our Reverse DICOM Report Delivery system has provided a HIPAA compliant, super-efficient method of electronic image and report delivery and our monitoring software allowed us to spot potential problems before they could affect our services or reports.
We are excited and thankful for the successes Direct Radiology has experienced and can’t wait for a great 2018. Our model is designed by radiologists, for radiologists, making us highly invested stakeholders genuinely devoted to our customers’ success. We believe our customers deserve to experience true partnership through innovative, high-quality teleradiology services.
