Kirkland, WA. November 12, 2013 – Direct Radiology (DR), LLC is proud to announce that it has been awarded Joint Commission accreditation as of November 11, 2013.
The Joint Commission is a non-profit organization that accredits hospitals and other health care organizations across the United States. The Joint Commission strives to “continuously improve health care for the public by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.”
The accreditation process for Direct Radiology was led by John Arias, M.D., one of DR’s founders and principals. “This is an important milestone for us in that it demonstrates that our internal processes, including credentialing, privileging, quality assurance, information management, and disaster preparedness, function at the highest level and meet the rigorous standards applied by the Joint Commission,” explains Dr. Arias.
“We are very proud of this accomplishment and it would not have been possible without the diligent work of our managers and other employees who deserve much of the credit.”
