September 9, 2014– Direct Radiology (DR), LLC, a leading provider of teleradiology solutions to radiologists and radiology groups throughout the United States, has announced that Timothy V. Myers, M.D. has joined the company as their Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Director of Quality Assurance.
Dr. Myers brings a broad range of experience in the field of radiology and teleradiology, including previous positions as CMO with NightHawk Radiology Services and Lakeland Healthcare Group/Capstone Radiology and as Medical Director at a large private radiology practice. Dr. Myers also served as Director of Professional Services for Virtual Radiologic (vRad).

In addition to executive leadership, Dr. Myers is certified by the American Board of Radiology with 23 years of experience in Body Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Body and Neurointerventional Procedures. Dr. Myers completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in Body Imaging and Interventional Procedures at the University of Missouri-Kansas City/Truman Medical Center. Dr. Myers also served in the United States Air Force as Chief of Diagnostics and Officer in Charge, Section of Interventional Radiology at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.
