Dr. Humphries received her Bachelor’s Degrees and Medical Degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She also completed a Pediatrics Flexible Internship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Humphries completed her Radiology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. After her Radiology residency, Dr. Humphries fulfilled a Military obligation serving as a Medical Corps Officer for the U.S. Army. She obtained the rank of Major and served as Chief of Radiology at Winn Army Community Hospital; Fort Stewart, Georgia.
After her military obligation, Dr. Humphries went into private practice. Over the years, she has practiced a full spectrum of Diagnostic Radiology in various capacities including MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Emergency Radiology. Prior to transitioning into teleradiology, she was Director Radiology of her own hospital-based private practice in South Georgia.
Dr. Humphries joins Direct Radiology with 9 years of experience as a Teleradiologist. She holds American Board of Radiology Certification.
