Direct Radiology is proud to announce the selection of Hannah Bae, M.D., Daniel Baker, M.D., Ted Brewer, M.D., Richard Carregal, D.O., Kenneth A. Edgar, M.D., Dhawal Goradia, M.D., Morgan Haile, M.D., William Hartz, M.D., Muhammad Naveed Kahn, M.D., Anthony Minotti, M.D. to serve as the company’s new radiologist partners. Each new partner holds American Board of Radiology Certification.
As radiologist partners, they will be responsible for providing daytime subspecialty and emergency radiology coverage, as well as after-hours nighthawk radiology services to clients in all areas of North America. With the addition of these radiologists to the team, Direct Radiology looks toward the future and continues to accommodate the ever-growing industry.
Hannah Bae M.D. was born in South Korea. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2002. She completed radiology residency and nuclear radiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Prior to joining Direct Radiology, Dr. Bae worked both in hospitals and teleradiology for eight years.
Daniel Baker, M.D. is a native of Pennsylvania, and has been in practice for more than 18 years. He attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Ted Brewer, M.D. was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He received his BA in History from the University of Virginia, then attended Boston University School of Medicine on a US Navy Health Professions Scholarship. Dr. Brewer completed his internship at Portsmouth Virginia Naval Medical Center. He undertook additional training in undersea medicine at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute in Groton, Connecticut and Naval Diving Salvage and Training Center in Panama City, Florida. He completed his neuroradiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Brewer practiced teleradiology for 5 years prior to joining Direct Radiology.
Richard Carregal, D.O. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology at University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his internship and residency at Detroit Medical Center – Huron Valley in Michigan. After completing training, and prior to joining Direct Radiology, Dr. Carregal worked for 3+ years for another teleradiology company.
Kenneth A. Edgar, M.D. Dr. Edgar, a native of Michigan, has been in practice for more than 18 years. He attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed a diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship training in neuroradiology at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Edgar began his radiology career working in private practice in Pennsylvania and has been contracting teleradiology services for several years now.
Dhawal Goradia, M.D. completed his undergraduate degree at Reed College in Portland, OR and then received his MD from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. He moved to Seattle, WA where he completed his radiology residency as well as fellowships in Musculoskeletal Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University of Washington. He spent 8 years practicing teleradiology with another company prior to joining Direct Radiology.
Morgan Haile, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University.He received his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his internship and radiology residency at Tulane as well. He completed a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at University of Connecticut/St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Prior to joining Direct Radiology, Dr. Haile worked for several years in teleradiology.
William Hartz, M.D. has over 30 years of experience in both academic and private practice, with the last 10 in outpatient imaging. He initially trained in neurology at Drexel University, then completed his residency in radiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He spent his early career as director of angiography and interventional radiology at private hospitals, and held teaching appointments at Lewis Katz School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Muhammad Naveed Khan, M.D. moved to the United States after obtaining his medical degree. He completed his residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. After fellowship, he stayed in the same town and worked for the VA hospital for 7 years. Later he moved to a private practice in a small town in Michigan, where he worked for 7 years before joining Direct Radiology.
Anthony Minotti, M.D.‘s radiology experience spans all facets of radiology including academics, private practice, and teleradiology. Over the last 20 years, Dr. Minotti’s positions include Associate Professor of Radiology at Case Western Reserve University, Department of Radiology Chairman at MetroHealth Medical Center, and more. He also formed Precision Radiology Private Practice in Sandusky, Ohio and has been practicing teleradiology over the last six years.
