Meet The Team: Direct Radiology’s New IT Team Members

July 24, 2017 by Direct Radiology

Direct Radiology is proud to announce the addition of Daphne Dennison and Landon Palmer to the company’s IT Department. Please help us welcome our new IT team members.

Daphne Dennison joined Direct Radiology’s IT team in October 2016. Her expertise comes from years of experience in IT and related fields.  She worked in telecommunications in the Pacific Northwest and at North Idaho College as an audio visual classroom technician. After several years in Idaho, Daphne returned to her hometown-Bigfork, Montana-where she directed marketing and handled all IT-related issues for a real estate company for 8 years before joining the Direct Radiology team.

Outside of her work with DR, Daphne is still involved in the real estate world as a home photographer. She’s also a candlemaker, avid traveler, and outdoor enthusiast, enjoying paddle boarding, camping, rafting and hiking. She’s accompanied on all her adventures by her dog, Apache, and loves to spoil her five-year-old twin nieces.

Landon Palmer grew up in Northern Utah in a little town called Mantua. Shortly after marrying in 2003, he moved to Powell River, B.C. on the west coast of Canada. While there, Landon worked for a small Sears retail store doing sales, freight and deliveries. In 2010 his family relocated to Pocatello, Idaho so he could continue his education with a Computer Science degree at Idaho State University.  A year into the program, Landon realized that his interests were more in healthcare and technology as opposed to engineering. He changed course and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiographic Science instead. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2016, and shortly thereafter began working as a radiologic technologist at two clinical facilities.

In January 2017, Landon made the shift to Direct Radiology, allowing him to work in IT while still putting his radiology knowledge and skills to use. When not at his computer, Landon enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
