Direct Radiology PLLC has been awarded Joint Commission accreditation again for the third time in a row. Its first accreditation was 2013. The company earned superior marks and comments from the surveyor for quality, safety, workflows, and IT capabilities.
The Joint Commission is a nonprofit organization that accredits hospitals and other health care organizations across the United States. The Joint Commission strives to continuously improve health care for the public by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.
“Re-accreditation is important validation for us in that it demonstrates that our internal processes, including credentialing, privileging, quality assurance, information management, and safety practices function at the highest level and meet the rigorous standards applied by The Joint Commission,” said Drs. Lawrence Bub and Kyle Henneberry in a joint statement.
“We are very proud of this accomplishment and recognize the diligent work and dedication of our team each and every day who ensure we are providing the highest quality service to our customers and their patients.”
Founded in January 2012, Direct Radiology PLLC is a teleradiology practice for radiologists by radiologists. In March 2019, Philips acquired the business operations and technology of Direct Radiology LLC. This resulted in the creation of the Philips Telediagnostics Management Solutions business, a provider of non-clinical support solutions for telediagnostics customers.
Today, Direct Radiology PLLC entrusts Philips to help their daily business operations and growth. Direct Radiology continues to distinguish itself for the outstanding quality of service over the years, and for the inclusive and complementary positioning of its services to existing radiology groups and other customers.
